New Delhi: 'Khoobsurat' star Fawad Khan has been finalised to play Virat Kohli's role in soon to be shot biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
As per a leading daily, after Gautam Gulati decided to drop out of the movie, director Neeraj Pandey zeroed in on Fawad Khan to essay the role of stylish cricketer.
M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story- the biopic on the life of Mahendra Singh Dhoni will also feature Alia Bhatt, John Abraham, Aftab Shivdasani and Ram Charan Teja.
However there is no official confirmation on the same, but the team is expected to come out with the names of entire cast.
Fawad Khan, who shot to fame with his performance in the super hit daily soap Zindagi Gulzar Hai, has become the heart-throb in India after romancing Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat.
With Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, the movie has created much anticipation in the country, now with Fawad Khan coming in; the craze is expected to grow in neighbouring country Pakistan as well.
