New Delhi: The lead actress of hit television show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' Disha Vakani aka Dayaben got hitched today. The actress married her long time chartered accountant boyfriend Mayur in the presence of close friends and family.
Disha wore a maroon lehenga on her big day. Heavy kundan jewellery accentuated her Gujarati bridal look.
It was reported earlier that she would tie the knot in Ahmedabad but she got married in Mumbai itself. The intimate ceremony which took place in Oshiwara was attended by the families of the couple. No one from the television industry was spotted at the wedding except the director of the show, Asit Modi.

If not wedding, Disha has planned something special for all her co-actors from the show. She will host a grand reception party on 26th November at an opulent hotel in Juhu.
Though, Disha became a household name after she essayed the role of Dayaben, she has also starred in movies like ‘Devdas' and ‘Jodha Akbar'. She started her acting career with Gujarati theatre and then moved on to films and television.
