New Delhi: Festive mood gripped the Bollywood brigade as many celebrities bid adieu to Ganpati yesterday.
The Ganpati celebration, which kicked off on 29th showed splendid hues of happiness and celebrations. While most actors installed the Ganesha idol at their residence or studio, several others took to Twitter to chant "Ganpati Bappa Morya".
While wishes and greeting are pouring in from all around some of the Bollywood celebs bid farewell to Ganapati with tears in their eyes.
Stars like Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Shilpa Shetty among others said goodbye to their favourite God with all devotion and dedication.
Anil Kapoor celebrated Ganeshotsav at his home, which was attended by his brother Boney Kapoor and close friends Anupam Kher, Sathish Kaushik and David Dhawan.
Yesterday, the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do' actor bid goodbye to Ganpati as he took the Ganesha idol for Visarjan. The actor along with his wife and family did a puja of the Ganpati before immersing the idol in the water.
Hrithik Roshan bid farewell to the deity with his family. The Bang Bang actor was spotted with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan along with father Rakesh Roshan as he headed towards Ganpati Visarjan.
The Roshan family made a picture perfect frame indeed with hundreds of people surrounding them, to get a glimpse of Hrithik Roshan.
Sussanne Roshan's absence from the event certainly cannot be given a miss here but we were happy to see Hrithik celebrating this occasion with his family.

Shilpa was seen showcasing some of her best moves over the beats of the dhol, alongside sister Shamita Shetty and hubby Raj Kundra.
