New Delhi: With just one day to go for the new release this week, Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Bhoothnath Returns' and Varun Dhawan's ‘Main Tera Hero' would be trying to garner as much as they can on the last day.


If latest trends are to be believed, then David Dhawan's directorial has crossed the Rs 50 cr mark by its second Wednesday.

“MainTeraHero crosses Rs 50 cr nett mark. Wknd 2: 7.50 cr, Mon 2 cr, Tue 1.20 cr, Wed 1.05 cr. Grand total: Rs 50.23 cr nett. India biz.”, tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.



Last week's release Bhoothnath Returns has enjoyed a rock-steady week earning over Rs 25 cr in India bringing a solo hot for Big B at the age of 71.

“BhoothnathReturns Fri 4.07 cr, Sat 5.85 cr, Sun 8.10 cr, Mon 4.40 cr, Tue 3.02. Total: Rs 25.44 cr nett. India biz. Rock-steady”, confirms Adarsh.



Lastly, the highly acclaimed Queen has hit a sixer in its sixth week doing a business of above Rs 60 cr.

“Queen [Week 6] Fri 10 lacs, Sat 20 lacs, Sun 30 lacs, Mon 15 lacs, Tue 7.5 lacs, Wed 7.5 lacs. Grand total: Rs 61 cr nett. India biz”, writes Adarsh

Now all eyes are on Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's highly anticipated flick ‘2 States' which looks promising. Lets see what box office has in store for it.
