New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang faced no problem whatsoever to eclipse the new releases Sonali Cable and Mumbai 125 KM 3D's presence at box office. The Sidharth Anand directorial carried on its rock steady momentum even when it is now in its third week.

After the above new releases, Bang Bang hardly got affected and maintained a steady run with its Rs 2.25 and Rs 2.30 cr collection on Friday and Saturday taking the seventeen days total to Rs 172.47 cr nett in India, according to a leading daily Koimoi.

Bang Bang gross collection now stands at Rs 323 cr worldwide within seventeen days. With this, the movie has left behind the lifetime worldwide business of Salman Khan starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger' released in 2012. The movie ended its run at box office with Rs 320 cr gross collection in India.

The Friday release Sonali Cable starring Rhea Chakraborty and Ali Fazal got a lukewarm response at box office on the opening day and the following day. The movie just managed to collect Rs 14 lacs and 16 lacs nett on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Haider' is keeping the cash registers ringing at box office. The Vishal Bhardwaj's directorial collected just Rs 95 lacs on its third Saturday to take the seventeen days total to Rs 56.42 cr nett in India.

Bang Bang and Haider have another four days to fetch whatever they can. The pre-Diwali festival engagement might play a spoilsport and thereby the collections may witness a downfall.

For Haider it mustn't be disappointing as it has no big record to make or to break but for Bang Bang it should be a matter of concern since the Rs 200 cr club seems far from its reach.

With Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Happy New Year', the two and a half weeks old Bang Bang's dream to hit the double ton may not come true.
