New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's love life has always been under media scrutiny. While the actor got linked up with several actresses, his relationship with beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachachan and later with Katrina Kaif bagged a lot of attention.

While Aishwarya is now happily married with Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif is now dating Ranbir Kapoor. And Salman Khan is till waiting for his ‘miss perfect'.

Interestingly, Katrina makes a sizzling pair with both Ranbir and Salman which indeed sparks up a competition between the two actors.

Though, Ranbir Kapoor is still a budding actor and cannot be compared to superstar Salman Khan, however, Katrina Kaif's recent director Anurag Basu has an altogether different and ‘shocking' opinion on this.

The ‘Barfi' director who is working with Ranbir and Katrina in ‘Jagga Jasoos' feels Salman Khan is quite boring.

Unfazed by Ranbir's recent failure at the box-office, Anurag Basu says he prefers to work with a risk-taker like him than a “boring” actor like Salman Khan.

Infact, Basu was all praise for RK at a recent event. Anurag has earlier worked with Ranbir in ‘Barfi' and says he loves Ranbir's experimental nature the most. The director stated, “I am glad there is an actor like Ranbir who is taking the risk. There are not many actors, who would do it. He is not like Salman who is doing same thing film after film. He is boring. How can you do that?,”

He also supported junior Kapoor for his failures saying although Ranbir's risks are not paying off but at least as an actor he is getting the satisfaction of doing varied roles.

Moreover, Basu also mentioned that it isn't an actor's fault if a film gets dumped at the box office. Instead it is the director who needs to be blamed and so Ranbir Kapoor should not be blamed for the failure of ‘Besharam' and ‘Bombay Velvet'.
