New Delhi: There has been a situation of anxiety throughout the country ever since the dengue outbreak came to light this year.

While various medical associations are trying their best to fight this disease, the Municipal Corporations of every city are also issuing guidelines to prevent breeding of dengue causing mosquito Aedes Aegypti.

However, it seems B-town celebs are not bothered about the dengue outbreak and the panic it is creating in the country.

Reportedly, breeding spots for Aedes Aegypti were found in the bungalows of celebs like Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Jitendra and veteran singer Kishore Kumar's son Amit Kumar.

Apparently, dengue larvae were spotted in a non-functional water fountain in veteran actor Jitendra's Juhu residence, while they were found in an ornamental pot lying in the compound in Juhi Chawla's Malabar hill residence. In fact, a tarpaulin placed on a rain shade was the breeding spot for Aedes Aegypti at Kapoor's bungalow in Juhu.

While the BMC has issued notice to Juhi Chawla, Jitendra and Anil Kapoor under the more stringent section 381(B) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, they can be penalised with fines ranging from Rs 2,000 to 10,000 in magistrate courts. However, Amit Kumar has been issued a warning notice under section 381.

Reportedly, around 1,953 mosquito breeding sites were found in the city of Mumbai in the month of September, out of which around 1,773 were in non-slum areas.
