New Delhi: Alia Bhatt who is riding high on the success of her back-to-back hits like 2 States and Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, has kitty full of good projects.

It isn't a lesser known fact that Alia Bhatt always wanted to work with Ranbir Kapoor and has also spoken about it at many events. However, after grabbing Ayan Mukerji's forthcoming film with Ranbir, Alia seems to have chosen to not speak about the film.

At a promotional event of a shampoo brand, which Alia endorses, the actress refused to comment anything about the film.

She mentioned that Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar would be the best people to talk about the film. She also confirmed that she was indeed a part of the project. Well, Ranbir-Alia casting is pretty much official then we really wonder why Alia decided to keep mum about the film.

Alia who is usually candid at events was quite secretive this time, may be Karan instructed her to do so.

Karan Johar, who will be producing the film, has already shared the news on Twitter. The movie is expected to release on December 23, 2016.

"Ayan Mukherjee's next for Dharma productions is slated to begin mid next year and release December 23rd, 2016. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt..," the director-producer tweeted.

In past Ranbir has even promoted Alia's Highway and appreciated her work.

Ranbir and Ayan, who are very close friends, have delivered two successful films together with ‘Wake Up Sid' and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', both for Dharma.

We are sure it will be great fun to watch Alia and Ranbir sharing the screen.
