New Delhi: Since the news of Aishwarya Rai's comeback on big screen broke out, her fans have been checking out all websites to get the inside updates.
Even before the project went on floors, 'Jazbaa' starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite Irrfan Khan has garnered enough buzz.
And that's not all. Aishwarya is in news once again for throwing starry tantrums. This time the stunning starlet seems to have gone ahead to secure her stable stance in Bollywood amid the furor of younger generation in the B-town.
As per sources, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan way before signing 'Jazbaa' was first in talks to star in Sriram Raghvan's upcoming flick 'Badlapur'.
Inside sources revealed that the actress was excited about the script but soon her excitement faded away when she was informed about director's plan to bring in an ensemble cast which included Varun Dhawan.
Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is focusing on making a comeback with a movie as a solo lead. According to the source, "Even though Aishwarya liked the subject, she wasn't too happy knowing the fact she would be a part of an ensemble cast."
The source adds, "Also the reason why refused the role was because it had shades of grey and Aishwarya was not keen on choosing a negative role for her comeback."
Soon after Aishwarya declined the project, Sriram made few changes in the script and got two leads instead of one and roped in Huma Qureshi and Yami Gautam for the role.
