Actor Vijay turned a year older today. Atlee, director of his upcoming film Mersal, has revealed the actor’s look from the film and called it a birthday gift. Two posters of the film have been released till now and fans can’t control their happiness. Ever since, Vijay’s look was out, Mersal started trending on social media. The film is slated to release on Diwali. The actor will have a triple role in the film.
Atlee tweeted, “Here's comes my b'day gift to Vijay na. #Mersal #HBDMersalVijay.”
The film marks Atlee's reunion with Vijay after last year's Tamil blockbuster Theri.
Vijay plays a triple role in the film, which is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Studios. The three roles feature him as a panchayat head, a doctor and a magician. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for the film to get released.
The music of the film is given by A.R Rahman. Mersal also features Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in pivotal roles.
