New Delhi: Yesterday (July 12, 2016) marked the 14th anniversary of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Devdas’. While the Internet seemingly walked down the memory lane reminiscing the hit dialogues of the blockbuster, the actress of the magnum opus Madhuri Dixit was not far behind.

Madhuri decided to team up with young actor Varun Dhawan to mouth one of superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogues, only to be trolled by King Khan himself.

Varun Dhawan went on sets reality show 'So You Think You Can Dance' to promote his film Dishoom and dubsmashed, ‘Babuji Ne Kaha Gaon Chod Do…’ dialogue. You can watch Varun and Madhuri’s performance here:  

Not long after Madhuri who played Chandramukhi in the movie posted the video on social media websites, her reel Devdas took notice of it. Shah Rukh Khan had one of the wittiest responses to the video where he asked his ‘Chandru’ what happened to her voice.

This epic tweet points out that there is definitely no one like SRK when it comes to sassy replies. On the completion of 14 years of this movie yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan said that ‘Devdas’ will always be special to him.

Released in 2002, ‘Devdas’ starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with Madhuri and SRK. The movie was a huge hit winning 10 Filmfare awards that year. This masterpiece by SLB was the third Hindi version of the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel Devdas.
