The popular music composer says he's thrilled to work in such an interesting film.

As soon as the poster of Manmohan Singh’s biopic titled The Accidental Prime Minister was out, there was complete buzz everywhere. Anupam Kher, who will be playing the former Prime Minister in the film, shared the first look today, which went viral in a jiffy. Now, Sulaiman Merchant has come to the forefront and said that he is thrilled to work in such an interesting film. This means that the popular music composer is all set to create soulful music for the biopic.

The musician further added that he was proud of doing the music for the much-talked about film. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Sulaiman Merchant shared the first look of The Accidental Prime Minister, which has already become the talk of the town. The caption read, “First look poster of #THEACCIDENTALPRIMEMINISTER proud to be doing the music for this film”.

Sulaiman is a trained tabla player under maestros like Allah Rakha Khan and Zakir Hussai. Although both brothers love to travel, Sulaiman uses one of his favourite hobbies to explore different sounds for their music from different parts of the world. The brothers,have composed music for more than 100 Bollywood films and television shows.

The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh is the book written by former Prime Minister’s media advisor Sanjay Baru. The producer of the film Sunil Bohra revealed that they have completed the research on the movie and it is going to be bigger than Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi.

Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, who is making his directorial debut with the biopic, has said that he believed the story needs to be told with honesty and integrity. The screenplay of the film is written by Hansal Mehta. The biopic is scheduled to hit the cinemas in December 2018.
