Actor Sushant Singh Rajput can go the extra mile to get into the skin of his character. His last on-screen venture ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ was a proof that actor gives blood sweat and tears to his projects. Now, for his upcoming film 'Chanda Mama Door Ke', Sushant will be heading to NASA to understand his character.
The actor who is playing the role of an astronaut in Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s directorial venture revealed that the filmmaker has given him almost15 books and eight documentaries related to NASA and Apollo mission so that he could get the better understanding of his character.
Sushant said, “Sanjay has given me around 15 books and eight documentaries, including For All Mankind (1989) that documents National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Apollo mission, to understand the life of astronauts.”
He further added that he has completed his training on a simulator and in the coming days he will go to NASA for a month to understand the life of an astronaut.
He added, “Sanjay has contacts in NASA. I will spend almost a month with them to understand an astronaut’s body language and mindset.”
The actor couldn’t control his excitement of working in the flick as the director has already given him the uniform with the badge.
On a related note, Sushant will next be seen with actress Kriti Sanon in Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Raabta’.
