Actor Shahid Kapoor who was blessed with a daughter yesterday seems to be doing a great job at being a father. For a new dad, Shahid is apparently doing his best. Shahid’s mother Neelima Azim during a conversation to a leading daily revealed how the 35-year old actor is taking care of his daughter.
“His happiness is out of this world. He is taking such good care of his little daughter already,” Neelima was quoted by the daily.
She added, “While some men might shy away or hesitate to hold babies, he is very good. He is like a pro, a veteran. He has been taking care of his Mira very well. He makes a great husband and a wonderful dad.”
Papa Shahid took to Twitter yesterday to break the news that his wife Mira Rajput has given birth to a daughter. In his tweet he had said that he cannot express his happiness.

Telling about the happiness which has engulfed the Kapoor family, she said,
“This baby is my firstborn’s firstborn and the first grandchild in the family. I wanted a granddaughter. I am on top of the world.”
"I thank everybody for their wishes and support. Both mother and daughter are doing fine and my granddaughter looks absolutely gorgeous. Their parents are so happy. It's the fourth generation,"
said Neelima.
When Neelima was asked about the baby’s name, Neelima said,
“That’s for the parents to tell. It’s their privilege.”
