Veteran actress Hema Malini organized the Indo-Georgia dance fusion concert in Mumbai on Friday and, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan made sure to attend the event in style. Titled Synergy, the dance-based event is aimed at promoting a lot of young artists from across India who perform classical dance forms. Hema Malini’s gala event was a star-studded affair. Besides surprise guest SRK, who made a stylish entry in a black suit, several other B-town celebs were also a part of the event. While Govinda arrived with wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina, Ashutosh Gowarikar was all praise for the actress-turned-politician Hema Malini.
Speaking about his experience, Gowariker said: "Hema Malini constantly thinks out of the box. She always comes out with lot of synergy and that's why I feel she named her unique programme as Synergy."
Hema Malini’s daughter Esha Deol, who is expecting her first child with businessman husband Bharat Takhtani, made a stunning appearance in an orange attire. Younger sister Ahana Deol also attended the Synergy concert with husband Vaibhav Vohra.
Speaking about the excitement for the show and Shah Rukh Khan presenting it, Hema Malini said, "I am feeling really happy that many people from the film industry have come for this programme. I am quite sure that people will appreciate this show because it's a different kind of fusion.
"We have invited almost 40 Georgian dancers and 30 artists from India. Shah Rukh is presenting the show and that is also the highlight of the programme." For full details, watch the video here
