Actor Saif Ali Khan recently stated that he was nervous and worried about his daughter Sara Ali Khan’s decision of choosing acting as a profession. This raised many eyebrows but latest reports suggest that it was Saif’s ex-wife Amrita Singh, who was very angry with the statement. A source revealed that the actress called Nawab of Pataudi and stated that it was very irresponsible of him to say such things as Sara is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut.
If reports are to be believed, Amrita lashed out at Saif over a phone call for giving such statements. The actor didn’t want to stretch that argument and thus, said that he was ‘quoted out of context’.
Speculations are rife that just after the call, Saif went for IIFA press conference and when again he faced the question on his daughter’s debut, he played safe. He told media that he supports his daughter and was just worried about the unsure profession. Filmmaker Karan Johar present there agreed with him. He also suggested his daughter to read her scripts properly.
It is yet to be seen is these reports are true. Sara will be making her Bollywood debut alongside actor Sushant Singh Rajput with Kedarnath. The movie will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
On a related note, Saif will be seen in the remake of Hollywood flick Chef.
