Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are all set to reunite on the silver screen after a gap of ten years; their first appearance being their debut movie ‘Saawariya’. Media reports suggest that Sonam has been roped in to play an important role in Raj Kumar Hirani’s biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt, having Ranbir in lead.

Purportedly, Sonam will have a special appearance in the movie. A source in the know told a daily that Sonam’s character won’t be a reflection of any one woman but would rather be a mix of many women Sanjay Dutt dated through 1980 and 1990’s.

Ranbir and Sonam’s debut with ‘Saawariya’ did not get them box office success, but played a major role in carving their paths in Bollywood.

It would be really interesting to see how their next on screen venture turns out to be for the viewers.

Apart from Sonam, Sanjay Dutt’s biopic has another leading actress of Bollywood as a cameo. Actress Anushka Sharma is said to play the role of a scribe in the movie.

The movie that is all set to go on floors in 2017 will chronicle the ups and downs of Snanjay Dutt, since the time he debuted to his quest of drugs and his time in prison. To blur the distance between reel and real, Ranbir is said to go undergo drastic transformations for his role.

Apart from Dutt’s biopic, Ranbir is working on his production venture ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Drogon’.
