The flick is based on the life of a ganster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. Both the films started on the slower note, but Poster Boys performed better on the subsequent day.

Daddy witnessed an average occupancy of 20% on its opening. Arjun Rampal’s film was expected to do much better, but it seems like Poster Boys is winning the race hands down.
Poster Boys is a remake of Marathi film Poshter Boyz. The film is being popular among the audience for having brought back the Deol brothers on the screen after 4 years. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol enjoy a dedicated fan base in Northern India and hence, it’s performing better than Arjun Rampal’s Daddy. After Poster Boys, the Deol duo will share the screen space again in the third instalment of Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise along with Dharmendra.
