Actress Vidya Balan’s ‘Begum Jaan’ impressed audience with its first poster and the trailer launch of the film is going to be grand as almost 10 actors from the film will join the leading lady at the launch event. The trailer will be launched on March 14.
The film features powerful star cast. Along with Vidya it also stars Gauahar Khan, Ila Arun, Pallavi Sharda, Ridheema Tiwari, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Chunky Pandey, Sumit Nijhawan, Pitobash, Poonam Rajput, Flora Saini, Mishti Chakraborty, Priyanka Setia, Vivek Mushran, Rajesh Sharma in crucial roles.
Not only this, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah will also be seen doing a cameo in the film. It is expected that all the stars will grace the launch event of the film.
Ever since the poster of the film was launched, all the characters of ‘Begum Jaan’ looked promising. Recently, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Vidya shared another picture along with the female characters of the film calling them her family.
The film is the Hindi remake of Bengali film ‘Rajkahini’ directed Srijit Mukherji. The movie is based on the Indo-Pak partition era and tells the story of a woman in brothel. It is slated to release on April 14.
