Meanwhile, the first look of Manto was unveiled at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival and it will take your breath away. The release of the movie’s poster at the celebrated film festival is laud worthy.

This is the fourth time that Nawazuddin has attended the Cannes Film Festival. The actor made his debut in the festival with Gangs of Wasseypur. Speaking about his association with the festival, Nawazuddin said he has come a long way. He revealed that when he debuted he had only one suit stitched by a local tailor. But things have definitely changed for Nawazuddin.

Makers shared the first look and wrote, “If you cannot bear these stories, it is because we live in unbearable times” Manto #Cannes2017 #Cannes70 #Film #Movies.”

The picture makes you think why Bollywood hasn’t made a film on a writer’s life yet? The film is a biographical account of writer Saadat Hasan Manto’s life and is set in 1940s India. He is often considered as one of the greatest writers of short stories in South Asian history.
