Singer Armaan Malik today engaged in Twitter fight with actress Sonakshi Sinha while supporting Kailash Kher, who wasn’t happy with the actress performing at Justin Bieber's Mumbai concert. Armaan stated that actors should leave the mic and stage for singers and this made the Dabangg actress angry, who gave a tiff reply to him.
Armaan backed Kailah as he tweeted, “Agree with @Kailashkher sir! Actors are actors & singers are singers. Leave the stage & mic to us, that's our playground not yours.”
This made the actress angry, who slammed Armaan saying that art in any form should not be supressed. She tweeted, “A secure artist wud always encourage another artist to grow their skills and follow their dreams. Art in any form should not be suppressed.”
Armaan also tweeted, “I Agree with u sonakshi.. but I voiced what I felt about how singers are shunned in our country & given lesser importance than actors!!”
Sonakshi didn’t stop there and recalled the time when he wants her to sing for him. Armaan replied that she mistook him with his composer brother Amaal Malik. The actress was in no mood to stop as she said that it was both Armaan and Amaal, who asked her to do a song together.
Kailash Kher recently reacted on the news of Sonakshi performing with Justin Bieber saying that whenever any singer from the West performs in India, not singers but actors are called on boards to match them, which is not good.
