In between, the huge Kapil Sharma Vs Sunil Grover fight, an old Punjabi music video featuring the comedy king Kapil has started doing the rounds in the online medium. The video is an apt reminder of how the ace comedian rose from rags to riches.

The highest paid stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma is seen playing the tambourine in the video, which stars Gurpreet Singh Waraich aka Ghuggi in the lead.

In the 3-minute-47-seconds long video, Ghuggi is seen dressed as a groom. Meanwhile,Kapil is part of a trio of tambourine players who provide back-up to the lead singer.

Ghuggi, who is a comedian-singer turned AAP member, was one of the popular faces in the comedy circuit in the past decade. At that time, Kapil was just starting out.

On the work front, the comedy king is busy shooting for his Bollywood film Firangi and his popular show The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS).

Kapil Sharma, who is set to get married to the love of his life Ginni, is going through a rough patch ever since he got into a drunken brawl with fellow comedian Sunil Grover on a Melbourne-Mumbai flight. Sunil Grover aka Mashoor Gulati, Ali Asgar aka Pushpa Nani and Chandan Prabhakar aka Chaiwalla have since stopped shooting for TKSS.
