New Delhi: The connection between East and West is getting stronger these days. Our leading ladies Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are taking over Hollywood these days.

And now there is a good news for all the James Bond fans in India. James Bond star Daniel Craig is planning to visit India in June this year.

According to the media reports, Craig will reportedly attend the charity football match to be held in Delhi on June 11. Later, he might meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.

The high profile match will be a face-off between Bollywood celebs and the MPs. The match will see Bollywood personalities such as Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra taking on a team of politicians led by Manoj Tiwari and Babul Supriyo. This one of a kind event will have Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon as chief guest, among others.

And now with, Daniel being a part of the plant, it will raise the excitement for the match by many folds.

“We are still sorting out the details of his itinerary. During his time in Delhi, he may meet Narendra Modi, and he also wants to associate with some social cause in India. He may also visit Mumbai to meet some other Bollywood actors,” a source reportedly told a leading daily.

Reportedly, Daniel Craig is visiting India because of his connection with Italian activist-diplomat Angelo Antonio Toriello and his organisation, Humanicy. The organisation is spearheading the big-ticket charity match between Bollywood celebs and the MPs.

The British star was also named by the UN as a global advocate for the elimination of mines and explosives in March this year.

Well, if things go well, it will indeed be a big news for all the ‘007’ fans in India.
