For the first time in the history of Indian cinema noted film makers like Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Shekar Kapur and R.Balki have come together present country’s largest crowdsourced film, ‘INDIA IN A DAY’.

Directed by Richie Mehta, the movie is made collaborating over 16,000 video stories from Indians across the country who have captured a day in the life of India

Thousands of people has submitted their over 16,000 video stories from Indians across the country for this first ever large scale collaborative film

The footage submitted by participants was uploaded on a website set up by Google.

Having premiered at the coveted Toronto International Film Festival, this 90-minute film features heartfelt, joyous and deeply personal stories from numerous participants from across the country, documenting the day of October 10, 2015.

The film will release on September 23, 2016 in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
