I drink and smoke but don’t take drugs: Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Mumaith Khan

Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Mumaith Khan was grilled by SIT for almost six hours in connection with the drug racket case.

Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Mumaith Khan made an exit from the house to appear before Special Investigation Team in connection with the involvement of Tollywood in drug racket. The actress, who was grilled for more than six hours stated that she smokes and consumes alcohol but has never taken drugs. Mumaith further added that she hardly goes to pub and offered to give her hair, nail and blood samples for the investigation. However, officials stated that they will collect it if required.

A source in the excise department has revealed that the actress was asked if she visits pub, to which the lady replies that she hardly goes to pub or any party. She even refused knowing any drug peddlers. During the questioning, Mumaith said that she stays in Mumbai only and visits Hyderabad for work.

Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh was also under the scanner in connection with the case. When asked about her relationship with him, Mumaith said that she has only professional terms with Puri. The names of many prominent personalities have been linked to this case.

 

As Mumaith is out of Bigg Boss house, it is yet to be seen if she returns to the show. The Telugu version of the controversial reality show is being hosted by popular actor Junior NTR.
