Actor Govinda has recently talked about his cold war with the ace director Karan Johar. He not only opened up on not being invited on Karan’s show ‘Koffee With Karan’ but also said that it was director’s planned move to release ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ just a week after his comeback film ‘Aa Gaya Hero’.
The actor revealed to an entertainment portal that the filmmaker tries to portray himself as humble and innocent but it was his smart and planned move to release his film a week after ‘Aa Gaya Hero’.
He further stated that Karan is that type of a person who never says hello to people who are not from his group. He even revealed that the filmmaker has not called him in 30 years.
Govinda said, “He's not that kind-hearted. It's a well-planned and smart move by Karan that he's releasing his film a week after mine.”
Earlier, the actor had made it clear that he was never invited to Karan’s shows or parties.
He even compared Karan to filmmaker David Dhawan saying that he finds ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director more jealous than David.
This is known to all that Govinda has given many hit movies Dhawan. But now the actor shares sore relationship with him.
Well it seems that before the release of his film, Govinda has bared his heart out.
‘Aa Gaya Hero’ is slated to release on February 24. ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ will hit the screens on March 10.
