New Delhi: Contestant of the eight season of reality TV show Bigg Boss and TV actor Deepshika Nagpal has filed a police complaint against her ex-husband Kaishav Arora on International Women’s Day. The actress said that she couldn’t take any more physical abuse from her husband and if affluent women like her stay quiet on the matter then who will speak?

This is the second time Deepshika has filed a complaint against her husband whom she wed in 2012.

“The first time I did (complaint) and I thought he will be fine, everybody has to give one chance to this marriage. But if on Women’s Day I’m being beaten up, I will not take it. If I remain mum so what will other wives do?” said Deepshikha while she was leaving the Bangur Nagar police station in Mumbai, to file the case.

The first time she had registered a complaint was last year when Kaishav allegedly threatened to kill her.

When asked what were the sections on which the case was filed, “They’re(police) saying not to talk right now, will talk later. They’re saying they’re supporting, they will help, the legal procedure is on. I’m just saying, I need my justice, I need my protection, nothing else.”

Deepshika revealed that she and Kasihav don’t stay together and the divorce took place a few days ago. She added, “No one has the right to raise their hand on a woman, be it me or any other woman. That’s all I wanted to say, I don’t want to interfere in anyone’s personal life, but I need protection for my life.”

The actress, who has acted in films like Partner and Corporate, was earlier married to actor Jeet Upendra and parted ways in 2007 after about 10 years of marriage.
