Baahubali 2 weekend collection: SS Rajamouli creates history, film collects 500 crore worldwide

Baahubali: The Conclusion is breaking records and setting new ones as the film has collected Rs 500 crore worldwide in all languages, according to a report in Box Office India.

Baahubali: The Conclusion is breaking records and setting new ones as the film has collected Rs 500 crore worldwide in all languages, according to a report in Box Office India. Not only in India, the film has smashed all records in UK, Australia and New Zealand.

The Tamil version of Baahubali 2 has minted Rs 1.61 crore on opening weekend in UK. In Australia, the magnum opus earned Rs 2.47 crore on its first weekend. The Hindi version of the film has collected Rs 4.04 crore in Australia, Rs 1.33 crore in New Zealand and Rs 1.62 crore in UK.

In India, the Hindi version of the film has collected Rs 128 crore.

According to a tweet by Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, Baahubali: The Conclusion earned Rs 121 crore on its first day in India. The film collected Rs 41 crore from Hindi version and Rs 80 crore from other languages.

The film did wonders in other countries as well. The film has already shattered the records of Aamir Khan’s Dangal and Salman Khan’s Sultan.

Baahubali 2 is the second instalment of the Baahubali series. The first part garnered Rs 650 crore at the box office but the box office numbers predict that the second part is not going to stop at this amount.

The craze that movie buffs had for this film was quite evident from the advance ticket bookings. Baahubali 2 witnessed house full theatres on its opening day.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Conclusion features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in key roles.
