Amitabh Bachchan to share screen space with wife Jaya after 16 years?

Have you always loved the on-screen chemistry between Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan? There is definitely good news for you.The celeb duo is all set to cast their spell in their next film directed by Shoojit Siracar, fresh reports suggest.

Besides the cameo role in Ki and Ka in 2016, Amitabh and Jaya were last seen in Karan Johar’s Kabh Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The blockbuster film which also starred Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor was released in 2001.

This means that the power-packed couple will be sharing a full-fledged screen space after a long gap of sixteen years.

Coming to the story of the untitled film, it narrates the story of a couple married for over 40 years and sharing their old age together. Both of them approaching their end, but what make the film unique is their fear. Their fear is not death, but what happens if either one of them goes first?

However, the official announcement of the film has not been made yet. 

Big B and Jaya Bachchan have stolen our hearts with films such as Mili and Abhimaan in the past.  Now, we can’t wait to see them together sizzle on the big screen once again.

On a related note, Amitabh was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma directorial Sarkar 3, which hit the cinemas this Friday. 

The 74-year-old actor reprised his role as Subhash Nagre for the third installment of the Sarkar series.The first installment of the franchise was titled Sarkar, and it released in 2005. It was followed by the release of Sarkar Raj in 2008.
