Moment of pride for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aradhya
It is the proud moment for beautiful Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as she now holds the honour of being the first actress to hoist Indian flag in Melbourne. The actress flew to Melbourne along with her daughter Aaradhya to attend Indian Film Festival Melbourne 2017.
The mother-daughter duo raised the flag and sang the National Anthem. Little Aaradhya stood with patience as her mother gave speech and exchanged pleasantries. “Thank you so much Melbourne, thank you all of you for giving us such a moment of pride and happiness with so much love and warmth. Celebrating our 70th year of Independence Day will forever be personally such a beautiful memory for me and my dearest Aaradhya,”said Aishwarya who first spoke in Hindi and then translated it into English.
The actress was looking elegant in white and blue floor-length anarkali dress which has zari embroidery on it. Keeping it minimal, the actress paired it with diamond accessories and nude makeup. Cute little Aradhya dressed in white lehenga looked as pretty as her mother. Apart from Aishwarya, many members from film fraternity graced the occasion with their presence. Ace filmmaker Karan Johar, Baahubali producer Shobhu Yarlagadda, Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkummar Rao, Shipa Shetty among others attended the ceremony.
The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress will next hit the screen as a singer in Fanney Khan which also stars Anil Kapoor. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film is a comeback of Aishwarya with Anil Kapoor. Fanney Khan is being produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
