After grand success of Baahubali 2, SS Rajamouli begins working on his next flick

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who is riding high on success after his latest flick Baahubali: The Conclusion did wonders at the box office, has reportedly started working on his next flick.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who is riding high on success after his latest flick Baahubali: The Conclusion did wonders at the box office, has reportedly started working on his next flick. The film is touted to be an action-based revenge drama.

A source revealed to a leading daily that that the story of the flick has been locked and Rajamouli has started working on the script. The project will be produced by DVV Danayya and if everything goes well then, the shooting will start by the end of the year. DVV Danayya has earlier produced films like Desamuduru and Naayak.

Speculations were rife that the filmmaker will cast the Baahubali star Prabhas in this film also. But, a source clarified that the cast of the film is yet to be finalised and Prabhas will be busy with Saaho. Thus, he is not likely to play the lead in Rajamouli’s next.

As the filmmaker has started working on his next project, it seems that he has not let the strong response of Bahaubali 2 got into his head.

On a related note, Baahubali 2 featured Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The movie broke many records and set benchmarks for upcoming films. Baahubali: The Conclusion crossed Rs 1500 crore mark at the international box office.
