A Gentleman box office collection: Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez's film mints Rs 4.50 cr

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez's A Gentleman clashed with Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Babumoshai Bandookbaaz at the box office.

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Gentleman has released recently and the film has minted Rs 12.25 cr in three days, according to BoxofficeIndia.com. The film earned Rs 4.04 crore on the opening day and Rs 4.36 cr on the second day. As per early estimates, A Gentleman has earned Rs 4.50 on Sunday making the total weekend collection of the film Rs 12.25 crore. The film was fighting the box office battle with Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Babumoshai Bandookbaaz.

Earlier, the figures were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media. He tweeted, “#AGentleman shows limited growth on Day 2... Fri 4.04 cr, Sat 4.36 cr. Total: ₹ 8.40 cr. India biz.”

Sid and Jacqueline’s film opened to mixed reviews and was not appreciated by critics. In the film, Sid was seen in two different avatars and actor Suniel Shetty made his comeback with after a long gap. It is yet to be seen if the film witness growth in coming days.

On a related note, Sidharth and Jacqueline have earlier worked together in Brothers. Their sizzling chemistry in A Gentleman was one of the highlights of the film. The actor was last seen in Baar Baar Dekho opposite Katrina Kaif. The movie doomed at the box office.
