Suri(WB): A 25-year-old tribal woman today lodged a police complaint alleging that two men from the same community tried to rape her at Bidaypur village in Birbhum district.

The woman lodged the complaint with the Dubrajpur police station this evening.

Police said that the woman alleged the two men from the same community tried to rape her following some petty dispute and when she resisted she was assaulted by them.

The woman has been sent to Suri Hospital for medical test and treatment, the police added.
