A woman from neighbouring Delhi had gone there to file an FIR for sexual assault, and the police threw her accompanying husband inside the lockup for the whole night.
Though deputy superintendent of police Arvind Yadav denied, the rape victim's husband was kept in lockup, the man and his wife said, police is now lying.
The woman complained that while coming out of a temple on Thursday evening, four men in a car abducted her, took her to a lonely place and gangraped her. They then threw the woman while absconding.
