New Delhi: In a fresh development in the Sunanda Pushkar murder case, Delhi police is now on the lookout for three people who came from Dubai using fake passports and stayed  at Hotel Leela in New Delhi where Pushkar was found dead on 17 January. Interestingly, the three people left the hotel the very next day i.e. January 18.

A Delhi police team headed by the ACP will now go to Dubai to further investigate the case. As of now, the police have not ruled out monetary or IPL links behind Pushkar's death.

Pushkar was found dead on 17 January in a suite of Hotel Leela, where she was staying along with her husband and a Congress leader Shashi Tharoor.

On 16th January Sunanda Pushkar had called her friend Nalini and shared her concern over Tharoor's growing closeness with Pakistani journo Mehr Tarar. According to Nalini Singh, Sunanda told her that Shashi Tharoor was not happy with his relationship with Sunanda. The very next day, Sunanda's body was found under mysterious circumstances in room No.345 of Hotel Leela located in Chanakyapuri.

According to Nalini Singh, Sunanda had informed her that  Tharoor wanted to get married to Mehr Tarar and was planning to do so after 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
