New Delhi: A Google employee was arrested in Manhattan on allegations that he raped a woman in his East 12th Street apartment on June 1st.

Justin Chan, a Canadian transplant who works out of Google's Manhattan HQ, allegedly met the woman on the street, did a shot of whiskey with her, and then took her back to his apartment.

Then, despite her protests, he pinned her down on his bed and told her, "It will be over in five seconds," before allegedly raping her.

He held her down "while (she) was repeatedly asking defendant to stop while crying," the Post wrote, quoting the criminal complaint from yesterday court proceeding in the case.

Chan, who has a master's degree in computer and biomedical engineering, pleaded not guilty to felony rape charges at yesterday's arraignment, the Post reported.

Prosecutors said Chan, who had been out on bail, has numerous other complaints of sexual assault against him.

The prosecution pressed the judge to increase bail to $100,000. But Judge Charles Solomon kept the bail at $50,000, the Post wrote.

Chan has not been charged in any of the other cases as yet.
