New Delhi: As the much talked about Tara Shahdeo's 'love jihad case' is getting hyped, many similar incidents are coming into light by the passing days. Now the 'love jihad' scenario has extended its grips to the Uttar Pradesh as well.

A minor girl in UP was gang-raped by her alleged lover and his friends, and was later forced to change her religion.

The victim who is a student of class X, had a love affair with her neighbor Raju alias Imran.  On 29th August, the accused coaxed the victim and raped her along with his three friends. After which they forced the girl to change her religion and also made her sign a blank paper.

On 30th August, the girl somehow managed to escape and reported the incident to her family, after which the family filed a complaint against the accused.

According to the victim's family, the police initially neglected their report.

But after the pressure from the seniors, police registered the complaint and arrested the accused

Seeing the profoundness of the matter, the police is investigating into the matter further.
