The prosecutor told the sessions judge Y D Shinde that both of them were hardcore criminals, and should be produced in chains before the court.
Accepting the prosecutor's plea, the judge ordered that both of them should henceforth be produced in chains.
The court sent both of them to police custody till February 18. Maharashtra anti-terrorism squad had flown them to Mumbai from Delhi amid top secrecy on Wednesday.
