Here is the story of another woman who was on the verge of losing her life at the hands of her husband, and now she wants to meet Bollywood star Salman Khan.  
Shakeela Zaren, 17, was married to a 31-year-old Afghan man in her country.

"He used to beat me up all the time and one day he shot me in my face. If I ever meet him, I will cut him into pieces", says Shakila Zareen, with tears in her eyes.

Shakila lost her nose, an eye, teeth and hearing in her left ear. She underwent nine sugeries, six in Kabul, and three in Delhi, where she is presently.

She has six brothers and sisters at home.  Shakila has come to Delhi with her mother Sherman Jan, 55, since January. Her father, a soldier, died last year and the mother is struggling to look after her family.
