New Delhi: Doctors are usually treated as next to God in our country  as they have the power to save lives. Nowadays many fake doctors are running their business using fake degrees and playing with the lives of people.

In a recent case, an infant girl lost her life in Bihar  when a fake doctor operated her with a knife that is used to cut vegetables.

According to victim's father, his one year old daughter complained of pain in her stomach after which the family took her to a nearby clinic for checkup.

The fake doctor opined that the baby had an appendix and a surgery was necessary.

He started operating the girl in his clinic itself and used a knife used for cutting vegetables.

During the operation, the girl's intestine was cut off  by the doctor as a result of which the baby's health started deteriorating. A nervous doctor asked the family to take the infant to another hospital.

The family took the infant to another private clinic but the doctor refused to admit the baby and referred her to Sadar Hospital where she was declared brought dead.

The incident angered the family and they thrashed the fake doctor.

After getting information about the incident, the police arrested the fake doctor and is investigating the case.
