Shree 420: Impersonating as a judge, 77-yr-old thief grants bail to almost 3000 people

New Delhi: You will be shocked to hear this story. A 77-year-old thief  impersonated as a judge and granted bail to almost 3000 people. Police has arrested the accused.

Police nabbed this man named Dhaniram at Punjabi Bagh's area when he was trying to steal a car. It's the 22nd time he has been arrested by police.

During police interrogation, he confessed that  he is a thief and had also worked as a Railway station master.

Before quitting his job as a station master he had done the course of handwriting expert. He also did LLB course and started law practice as well.  

Dhaniram said that once in Jhajjar court there was a case going on against a session judge following which he wrote a fake letter to the judge and asked him to go on a vacation. He then utilized this opportunity, impersonated as the  judge for two months and gave bail to 2740 people .

As soon as he was arrested, he complained of having ill- health and was admitted to Din Dayal Hospital.
