New Delhi:  An over-speed santro car in Lucknow hit two women near Golf Club crossing around 1pm, yesterday. While the 25-year old Raziya died on the spot in the accident, her aunt Afsara Jahan had to lose one of her legs. They were coming from the Civil Hospital where they had gone to visit a relative.

According to the onlookers, the car was being driven by a woman who was enjoying ice-cream while driving and the car speed had crossed the permissible speed limit as well.

The over speeding car went out of control, and smashed the victim and her aunt. On seeing the car coming towards them, Raziya pushed her aunt away and got crushed by the car, who then hit the electricity pole so hard that it uprooted from its spot.

While Raziya died within minutes of the accident, her aunt suffered serious injuries in her leg.

Despite the fact that the accident took place near the chief minister's residence, the help came after 30 minutes only.

The duo was immediately taken to the hospital where the doctors had to remove one of Afsara Jahan's legs.  

However, the police has lodged an FIR against the lady driver for causing death by negligence under IPC section 304A.
