Muzaffarnagar: A headless body of a woman has been found here with police saying that she could have been murdered after gangrape by unknown persons.  

According to police, the body was found yesterday in a nullah at Kacholi village in the Kotwali police station area.
 
Police said that the deceased, who is yet to be identified, was aged about 28 years. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, police said, adding that they are yet to trace the severed head.

Once the woman has been identified, they will try to get in touch with her family members and relatives.
