Kolkata: In yet another incident of ragging in educational institutes, a class five student lost her life after allegedly being ragged by a class seven student.

Oindrila Das, 10, a student of Christ Church School, Dum Dum (North 24 Parganas), was allegedly ragged by her senior who was a student of 7th standard.
 
The victim's mother alleged that in the incident on last Wednesday, Rs. 100 were demanded from Oindrila by her senior but when Oindrila refused, she was locked inside the school bathroom by her senior. After hours being locked up in the bathroom, Oindrila was set free by a school sweeper who opened the bathroom door.
