New Delhi: After the much hyped Badaun rape case still being investigated, it seems the crime against woman is reaching its peak these days. A woman was found brutally injured and lying naked and unconscious on NH24 near Lakhmipur.

She was found by SP minister Amit Jaani who was heading towards Delhi while he saw the lady in a critical condition.

It has been said that the woman was gangraped in a moving car and was alter thrown on the road naked.

The minister alleged that despite of reporting the incident to the police, no action was taken by them. He claimed that the police and the ambulance didn't turn up for around one hour after the incident was reported to them

According to the minister, the police came in action after the matter was reported to UP CM, after which she was taken to a nearby hospital.

The woman had several brutal injuries on her body and her condition is still being critical.

However after the medical report, police will investigate the matter further, and will include rape charges in the case.
