New Delhi: Around half-dozen men brutally thrashed a doctor over a property dispute in Bhopal yesterday.

The doctor was attacked while he was attending his patients when some people entered Sachin-Mamta Hospital and took the doctor out of the hospital hit him hard with a baseball bat.

According to the victim's wife, few people pelted stones at the hospital few days back. She alleged that they were being threatened to vacate the hospital. Though they had reported the matter to the police earlier, but no required action had been taken by the police.

Victim's wife also alleged that the victim had a dispute with a property dealer Vishal Khatri over the ownership of the hospital.

While the injured doctor was admitted to J.P Hospital, the police has registered a case against eight people and is investigating the case further.
