New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested a 19 yr old student from a library on North Campus for stealing laptops on Firday.

According to the police, the incident was reported by the owner of the laptop, a physics teacher, who said he had kept it on a chair while he was working on a desktop.

Also similar incidents were also reported by two researchers earlier this week.

Though, after the police scanned the CCTC footage, they saw a student walking into the library empty-handed but coming out with a laptop bag, but they couldn't identify the student.

The accused, Dhruv Solanki, a BSc student, was arrested after he forgot to close his Facebook account on one of the computers in the library.

On checking the data, they found his Facebook account and acquired information about him.

The accused was arrested from his house in east Delhi and the stolen laptops, including one which he had sold through an online site, were recovered
