Pukhraj had been a  guarantor before a financier,  who lent money to his friends who refused to pay back the loans  eventually.

Pukhraj was being charged Rs. 8000 a day as interest. Not being able to cop up with the financial crunch, he finally decided to end his life and hanged himself on Monday evening. His wife, Sangeeta, is a teacher and he himself ran a shop on  Sapna Sangeeta road.
