But on Friday (Jan 31) his game was up, and he was arrested from Delhi International Airport on January 25 after Punjab Police issued a lookout notice for him.
A resident of Bharath village in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, Harvinderjit Singh had been playing tricks by marrying Indian women, taking lucrative dowry and then deserting them.
Singh used to come on holidays to India, marry Indian brides and later deserted them. He even prepared fake divorce papers to desert them.
Singh first got married in 2002, took his bride to Sweden and deserted her. In 2006, he married an Amritsar girl, but deserted her in India.
