Bus conductor allegedly set on fire for asking tickets in Tamil Nadu

Tirunelveli (Tamil Nadu): Two men in Tirunelveli set a bus conductor on fire when he forced them to leave the bus on finding them traveling without ticket.


Main accused was identified as Gangekondan who boarded the bus from Tajh Yutu but when conductor checked the passengers and found him without ticket he forced him and his partner to leave the bus.

Though they left the bus but out of rage started following the bus in an auto. Gangekondan poured petrol over the conductor and set him ablaze in full day light.

Nearby people tried to provide first aid to the conductor and rushed him to the nearest hospital. Conductor received 30 percent burn injuries and is now in stable condition.

Police has also registered the case against the two and haven taken them into custody.
